Commitment: 2 hours per week for 3 months
Location: Various primary schools in Durban
Training will be provided. Proficiency in English and isiZulu is a plus but not required.
Elderly Care Companions in Pretoria
Bring joy to the lives of seniors by becoming an elderly care companion in Pretoria. This LocalRoots project seeks volunteers to spend time with residents in care homes, engaging in activities like reading, playing games, or simply having a friendly chat.
Frequency: Flexible, minimum 4 hours per month
Location: Various care homes in Pretoria
No special skills required, just a warm heart and good listening skills.
Wildlife Conservation Volunteers in Kruger National Park
Passionate about wildlife? Join our conservation efforts in Kruger National Park. This UnityFund project is looking for volunteers to assist in various tasks such as animal tracking, data collection, and habitat restoration.

Basic camping and outdoor skills are beneficial. Training will be provided on specific conservation techniques.
