Project Submission Guidelines

Follow these guidelines to submit your project proposal for consideration on our UnityFund platform.

1. Project Eligibility

  • Your project must be based in South Africa and benefit the local community.
  • The project should align with our mission of sustainable community development.
  • Projects must have clear, measurable goals and a realistic timeline.
  • Initiatives should demonstrate potential for long-term impact.

2. Proposal Requirements

  • A detailed project description (max 1000 words)
  • Project timeline and milestones
  • Budget breakdown and funding goals
  • Team members and their roles
  • Expected community impact and beneficiaries
  • Photos or visuals of the project area or similar initiatives (if available)

3. Submission Process

  1. Prepare your proposal document in PDF format.
  2. Gather any supporting materials (images, letters of support, etc.).
  3. Email your complete proposal to submissions@yourbuty.co.za with the subject line "Project Proposal: [Your Project Name]".
  4. Our team will review your submission and respond within 14 business days.

  • Capacity of the team to execute the project

5. Next Steps

If your project is selected:

  • You'll be invited for an interview with our LocalRoots team.
  • We'll work with you to refine your project page on our platform.
  • Your project will be launched on Yourbuty for community funding and support.
  • Our team will provide ongoing guidance throughout your project's journey.
